چکیده

Background . Violation of male fertility can have various causes, one which is a decrease in sperm motility. In the pathogenesis asthenozoospermia, some bioactive substances, particular cytokines, may be involved. Aim To estimate number most studied cytokines to date ejaculate infertile men with normozoospermia and patients asthenozoospermia. Materials methods We examined 38 10 comparable age. All participants study were performed spermogram an analysis determine amount seminal plasma, such as interleukins 1β, 2, 4–8, 10, 12, 13, 17, G-CSF, GM-CSF, interferon γ, MCP-1, MIP-1β tumor necrosis factor α. Then, using nonparametric statistics, relationship between level above presence asthenozoospermia was analyzed. Results As result, we able find out that there concentration interleukin 6, 8 Conclusion Further research needed assess whether these inflammatory mediators potential relevance for use targets treatment infertility.

Correlation between Seminal Fluid Analysis and Levels of Gonadotropins in Serum and Seminal Plasma of Normozoospermic Men and Infertile Patients

Background Levels of serum gonadotropins have direct effects on testicular functions and spermatogenesis. Assessment of levels of serum gonadotropins from fathered subjects and infertile patients indicates wide range diversity. In this study, we tried to find out whether the levels of seminal FSH and LH affect the parameters of seminal fluid analysis (SFA) and if there is any correlation betwee...

Beta-endorphin in serum and seminal plasma in infertile men.

AIM To access beta-endorphin levels in serum as well as seminal plasma in different infertile male groups. METHODS Beta-endorphin was estimated in the serum and seminal plasma by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method in 80 infertile men equally divided into four groups: non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA), obstructive azoospermia (OA), congenital bilateral absent vas deferens (CBVAD)...

Antioxidant levels in blood and seminal plasma and their impact on sperm parameters in infertile men.

Excess reactive oxygen species (ROS) beyond the scavenging capacity of antioxidants leads to DNA damage and oxidation of lipoprotein components at the cellular and subcellular level. The oxidative stress (OS) adversely affects sperm function by altering membrane fluidity, permeability and impairs sperm functional competence. In the present study, the OS status in seminal plasma and blood serum ...
